About the company
know.space is a specialist space economics and strategy consultancy, with offices in London and Edinburgh. We are motivated by a single mission: to be the source of authoritative economic knowledge for the space sector. We combine cutting-edge analysis with deep understanding of the space sector to deliver trusted knowledge for our clients to help them navigate hype, risk and uncertainty.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, inclusive, and supportive place to work - a happy team is a productive team! Each individual’s success brings team and company success, which in turn creates opportunities for further personal development and career progression. Our current team are our greatest ambassadors, and we would be pleased to set up a meet & greet ahead of contract signature.
About the role
With our mission to be the authoritative source of economic knowledge for the space sector, having the right in-house expertise is critical to our work. Our advice is built on excellence in primary and secondary research, statistical analysis, and economic modelling.
Typically, you will be working to support the delivery of analytical projects such as monitoring and evaluation studies, market analyses, and business case development, engaging in both quantitative and qualitative work. Work topics are wide ranging, with recent projects including examinations of emerging in-space markets, evaluations of high profile space science missions, exploration of the potential for Artificial Intelligence applications in space, industry surveys, and a study on UK satellite launch.
As the space sector is continuously evolving, we also often need to develop novel and innovative methodological solutions for our clients, which requires creative thinking as well as having a strong grasp of analytical fundamentals.
We are open to different models of working, including both part and full time roles, and to different durations of the post.

£30,000 annual salary Full Time Equivalent (FTE), pro rata, depending on duration and working pattern.
