Myrthe has a strong background in qualitative analysis, bringing experience in policy and academic research. She previously worked as a research assistant at the Freeman Air and Space Institute at King's College London, where she focussed on the enhancing the UK's strategic influence in space.

Myrthe holds Bachelor degrees in Dutch Law and International Relations from the University of Groningen, and a Master's degree National Security Studies from King's College London.
