About the role

know.space is a specialist space economics and strategy consultancy, with offices in London and Edinburgh, and motivated by a single mission: to be the source of authoritative economic knowledge for the space sector. We combine cutting-edge analysis with deep understanding of the space sector to deliver trusted knowledge for our clients to help them navigate hype, risk and uncertainty. We have grown steadily since founding the company in 2019, and are now looking to recruit an experienced Manager as the company continues to grow.

The role of Manager is critical for the delivery of our projects, responsible for ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest quality. Typically acting as Project Manager for several projects at a given time (depending on size), you will be responsible for leading research design, implementation and delivery. Experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research skills, you will play an integral part in project leadership, working with and through our team of consultants, economists and analysts to set and communicate priorities, objectives and expectations.

The successful candidate will help to grow the business, working with the other members of the senior leadership team (2 Directors, 1 Senior Manager, 1 Expert Advisor) in developing ongoing business strategy for company growth, identifying and following new pipelines of business opportunities, and championing the company externally. Experienced in bid-writing, you will play a leading role in proposal development to secure new projects. You will also cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, providing economic expertise and strategic insights to solve complex challenges, and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.

You will also play an essential role in developing, coaching and mentoring junior team members, acting as a role model and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, continuing to keep know.space as a welcoming and enjoyable place to work.
